The 2017 season will feature the major exhibition, David Smith: The White Sculptures, the first exhibition to critically and fully consider the use of the color white within David Smith’s works. In addition, Storm King will present the fifth iteration of the emerging artist exhibition series, Outlooks, with a new site-specific, temporary installation by Heather Hart. This exhibition will consist of an interactive, sculptural environment—in the form of a domestic rooftop—which will be enlivened by performances, discussions, and events. Both exhibitions open May 13..
The Storm King Café is open from 11:00 am until one hour before closing. The locally sourced menu serves sandwiches, soups, salads, desserts, soft drinks, wine, beer, and coffee under a covered pavilion. Guests are invited to picnic in designated areas.
